2017 Fall Event – Murder Mystery Dinner
Join us at the Bells Event Center in Almont on Saturday November 11th for a delicious buffet dinner along with a few hours of mystery, intrigue, and murder! Just beware, the killer is hiding somewhere in the room and you may find yourself as a prime suspect! This is an event people will be “dying” to experience!

The September 21 Lapeer County Republican Party Executive Committee Meeting has been canceled due to the scheduling of the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference. The next meeting will be Thursday, October 19, 7:00 PM at the Mayfield Township Hall, 1900 N Saginaw St, Lapeer. All are welcome.
The Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference is held bi-annually on Mackinac Island. The theme for this year is “Together We Rise”. This event is to discuss ideas, hear speakers on various topics and interact with fellow Republicans. Some of the scheduled speakers are:
- U.S. Congressman Jason Chaffetz
- U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos
- Missouri Governor Eric Greitens
The conference is September 22-24. On line registration is available until September 7 on the Michigan GOP web site www.migop.org. After that date, on-site registration is available. The web site offers additional information and videos of past conferences. It’s a great event you may want to attend.

We had a fantastic turnout for our annual Lincoln Day Dinner held on Saturday March 25, 2017. It was a special evening and we were honored to be joined by our newly elected U.S. Congressman Paul Mitchell as well as former President Abraham Lincoln.
