Michigan Energy Bills to Fall Due to GOP Tax Cut

Sharing the following information from the Michigan Republican Party.

2018/01/23 – On Tuesday, DTE Energy announced it will be reducing prices by 3% as a result of the Tax Reform package passed by Republicans at the end of 2017. The 3.5 million Michiganders currently serviced by DTE will save nearly $190 million in 2018. In response to the DTE announcement Consumers Energy, the state’s largest energy utility serving 6.7 million residents, said that they are also planning to cut rates. If approved by the Michigan Public Service Commission, Consumers Energy customers in Michigan would see $200 million in yearly rate savings.

Whether you are seeing a reduction in your energy bill or you are one of the 2 million Americans getting a Tax Reform bonus, it’s clear that the Republican Tax cut is working for Michigan families, even before the new rates go into effect in February.

Tax Cuts are one of the many ways Republican policies are making our Nation and State stronger.  Below is video outlining eight of our greatest accomplishments here in Michigan over the past eight years.
