Re-Scheduled Highway Cleanup – 04/21/2018

TIME TO CLEAN UP LAPEER COUNTY

Lapeer, MI., 2018/04/14:  Due to the winter like weather today, we are re-scheduling our Highway Clean up date to Saturday 4/21/2018.

The Lapeer County Republican Party has participated in the “Adopt a Highway” program with the Michigan Department of Transportation for over ten years.  We keep the trash picked up on the section of M24 directly south of the I 69 expressway.  This is a great way to participate with the local and state governments to help keep costs down and keep our county LOOKING GOOD!

Our first cleanup day of the year is now re-scheduled for Saturday April 21, 2018.   We will be meeting at the Lapeer County Republican Office at 9:00 AM for coffee and doughnuts first (it’s important to keep our strength up) and then we will proceed to work on M24.  We break up into groups for short sections of the highway.  It generally takes a couple of hours to get the work done with lots of political conversation on the walk.

Come join us for a couple of hours.

If you have any questions call Roger Harris at 810-845-7644.
